Ladies and gentlemen, authorities, colleagues and friends of the global landslide community, the 7th World Landslide Forum in Amrita, Faridabad Campus, India begins November 23.The World Landslide Forums are organized every three years to bring together scientists, engineers, practitioners, businesses, and policy makers from around the world to share progress on landslide risk reduction on a global scale.

AIM

World Landslide Forums have been organized every three years since the first forum in Tokyo, Japan, in 2008. They are a common platform for scientists, engineers, practitioners and policy makers who are involved in landslide disaster risk reduction to present their latest progress.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

A wide international audience, with interest into landslide disaster risk reduction, is expected to attend the Forum:

  • Research and academic institutions
  • Intergovernmental organizations
  • Governmental and public organizations

PLENARY LECTURES

Scientists, engineers, practitioners, policy makers and other stakeholders working in the areas of landslide science and technology and disaster risk reduction will deliver distinguished lectures
